Corrections

We would rather fix an error quickly than defend it. Anyone, including the companies and researchers we write about, can ask for a correction.

How it works

Send the page, the statement you believe is wrong, and what the correct information is, ideally with a source. Use the form on the <a href="/about/" class="underline">About page</a>.

We review every request. Errors of fact are corrected in place within two working days of being confirmed, and the page's update date changes. Material corrections, meaning anything that changes the meaning of a statement about a company, product, trial or person, are listed below. Typos and wording changes are not logged.

If a request concerns a statement we believe is accurate, we reply with the sources we relied on and, where reasonable, add the requester's position to the page.
